Las Vegas!!!!!

Well I decided to share some Las Vegas Pictures with you all. We had a blast!!!! Suanne and Dennis left on Sunday for a firemans convention and me, Gayle, and the Watsons left on Wed. and met the Moseby's at a dinner for the Texas/Oklahoma firemen. It was a blast!!!! met alot of people and even seen people i went to school with go figure!!! Anyway no one hit it big but boy did we have fun. We laughed and laughed I can honestly say these people are my true friends we travel well together and like i said we just have a good time. We did miss Tom, Gayles husband, he was working at a burn camp in Pryor so he was not able to go with us. Anyway Below are some other pictures we took while on our trip. Saturday, tracy and Rocky invited the family over for a cookout/birthday parties!!! we all had a blast!! It was also Jacob's "friends" party. But before they got there we all played in the pool and on this BIG adult slip and slide or as they called it surf and slide. We had a blast. Jacob's 13th Birthday

Last night Jacob invited me to go out to dinner with him and his mom and dad for his birthday. His mom and dad told him to pick a place he wanted to go and low and behold he chose PIZZA HUT!!!! of all the places to go he chooses pizza!!! he is going to turn into a cheese stuffed pizza!!! afterwards I went and picked the girls up at church and they were wet and muddy, it was a back to school bash, anyway then we headed to the Turners for presents and cake. it was a great time!!! I have posted some pics of Jacobs birthday last night he is having his real party on saturday!!!!!Thanks Jacob for inviting me and hope you had a great birthday.

13 years ago today Mr. Jacob Turner was born!!! Jacob is such a loving kid who as soon as u walk through the door he is there with a hug. I cant believe this kid is already a teenager WOW!!! now Tracy and Rocky have TWO in the house.

Jacob is in the 7th grade this year and of course typical boy i asked him if he liked it and he said "NO HE DOESNT LIKE THE HOMEWORK!!!!!"

Jacob is in Karate (sp) and has already earned his yellow belt!!! he loves it. he also loves, loves, loves to play video game wether it be his Wi or playstation 2 or game boy the kid loves it and has probably figured out every game there is!! Anyway I hope you have an awesome day AND i LOVE YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!!

Happy 27th Birthday Amanda "Mandy" Dawn

Happy Birthday Mandy!!!!!!!

27 years ago Miss Amanda Dawn Short was born. What a blessing she was to all of us. I will never forget waiting and waiting and waiting for her to be born. That was the start of one of the happiest days of my life. My first neice born and I remember crying cause when i seen her for the first time her little head was coned shaped and I thought OH MY GOSH!!!! she is going to be a cone head!!!! BUT of course she wasnt she shaped right up and turned out to be one of the most beautiful young ladies i know. Inside and out.

I was never able to have children of my own, but i remember on Mothers Day for several years getting a card from Mandy wishing me a Happy Mothers Day "TO MY OTHER MOM". That meant more to me than she will ever know!!!! I remember when she was in school how her and her friends would come over almost every weekend and spend the night. It was great. Then she left for college and wow that was hard on me...and then she got married (to Brian Earp) and now she is a GREAT MOM!!!!!! It is amazing how this spoiled rotten little Blonde turned out to be such an amazing women, wife, neice, daughter, sister, and most of all an AMAZING MOM!!!! I love you Mandy and hope u had a Fantastic birthday!!!!!!!

Off to VEGAS!!!!

Well I am getting ready to leavce for Vegas today!!!!! Me, the Watsons, and Gail (her husband doesnt get to go this time) are heading out around 10 and will meet the Mosbey's who left Sunday for a firemans convention. Should be alot of fun!!!!!!

Lunch with PaPa Burke

today my dad came to town so we all headed to lunch. Dad, me, Tracy and her kids (Rachel, Rebecca, and Jacob) Terri, Tyler, Stephani (Tyler's g/f) and Bryson. We had such a good visit and Bryson was his usual cute self. He laughed and entertained us all. And boy can this kid eat!!!!! We would ask him where PaPa Burke was and he would turn around and point right at him and just wave and laugh!!!! he was really good



After we ate Terri, Tyler, Steph and bryson and dad headed to my house to see my bedroom i had redone. Now bryson had already seen it..lol. anyway I told Tyler not to woller around on my bed but he doesnt listen and then he put Bryson on there and he bryson decided to play hide and seek under the pillows.....and just laugh and then crawl around I was about ready to whip the whole bunch!!! (just kidding) I posted a few pictures below so u can kind of get an idea what was going on. Mandy dont ask all I know is Bryson wanted more!!!!!!

BACK TO SCHOOL!!!!!

Well its back to school for all the kids!!!!! seems like the summer just flew by, well at least for the kiddos. I have posted a couple of pictures below I will do the others tomorrow!!!!




Tyler (21) is headed back to Stillwater i think for his last year. I havent seen much of him this summer him and Stephanie (his girlfriend) has been working at a summer camp for underprivileged kids. This is his second year doing this and I think he really enjoys it. And Tyler could fit in anywhere, he has an awesome personality and is funny in a weird sort of way.But when he was home him and Katie (sister) did get to go to the Phantom of the Opera with me and we had a really good time!!! Tyler also is an officer with his fraternity so he will be living in the FRAT house!!! Tyler in a frat house..hmmmmm have fun Tyler!!!!






Heeerrrreeeee's Katie (19) she will be heading back to stillwater on Thursday, for her second year of college...she is really having a great time. She shares an apartment with Stephanie (tylers g/f) and she joined a sorority and is having a blast. I haven't gotten to spend as much time with Katie this summer as I would have liked cause she is either working or she went to two church camps as a counselor, and the kids LOVED her. Or she is hanging out with HER nieces and nephews (and her mom and sisters of course). But Katie is a sweetie and I absolutely LOVE being around her!!!! Have fun katie!!!

Footloose!!!!!!!!

Last night Tracy, Rebecca, Katie, Rachel, Morganbeth and myself got all dressed up and went to see the musical Footloose and the PAC...and OMG!!!!!! it was one of the worst shows i had ever seen. I do think Rebecca enjoyed it but she is young she didnt know any better!!!! So I am glad she enjoyed it. Me and Tracy laughed so hard we tried not to but once we got started we could not quit. at one point in the show this guy shows up and he looks ALOT OLDER than the other people in the play, but anyway this guy comes out and i swear he had a little sugar in his shorts and just his dancing and and his facial expressions cracked me up. I honestly thought we were at a high school play!!!! Needless to say we all had a great time and great laughs. I have posted some pictures below of our evening!!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!

Hey someone had to blog about it!!! I turned 47 today and I am very happy with the way my life has turned out!! I have a great job that i have been at for 16 years!!!! I have a GREAT...GREAT did i say GREAT family 3 sisters, 13 neices and nephews my dad and his wife who all love me very much!!!! and I have a GREAT circle of friends that anyone would die for they are so much fun.

I have posted some pictures below of family and friends. Hopefully i will have some more pictures to post after today!! My friends are haveing a cookout for me tonight at Suann and Dennis' it sould be alot of fun!!!! we always have so much fun !!!

Wild and Crazy Friends

This is probably my two bestest friends in the world!!!!! Becki and Brady. They have been here for me through EVERYTHING!!!! and we have such a good time. We all love to travel and just hang out and if i ever need anything even a shoulder to cry on miss Becki is always there. We call ourselves Lucy and Ethel....and this blog isnt long enough to tell you everything we have done!!!!!!! and i am not real sure i want you to know EVERYTHING!!!!!
